Multicultural Festival
Each February, Forest View hosts a Multicultural Festival celebrating the wonderful diversity of our school’s families. Each grade level displays family heritage research projects around the school, and children and families talk about their native countries and languages. Festivities include a Parade of Nations, a talent show representing the cultures of Forest View’s families, and a sampling of foods from around the world.
Science Share
Science enthusiasts of all ages gather in the halls of Forest View each year to swap stories, share experiments, and teach each other at the annual Science Share.
Fall Festival
Each October, the PTA sponsors a Fall Festival to gather folks together for some good food and fun! Families enjoy games, local food vendors, and lots of arts and crafts. Past festivals have included building hovercrafts, launching a giant slingshot, Plinko, creating scarves and tie-dye shoelaces, and eating yummy funnel cakes, LocoPops, Mad Popper popcorn, Dang Good Dogs, and Tootie’s grilled goodies.
Kindergarten Social/ Popsicles on the Playground
The weekend before school starts, kindergarten families meet each other, talk with some Forest View veterans and PTA officers, learn about volunteer opportunities, and enjoy some cool popsicles on a hot day!
