Building confidence, life skills, and healthy habits: Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is physical activity-based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-5th grades. Our Forest View team meets twice a week after school, and together learn life skills through interactive lessons and running games. At the end of the spring season, participants will run a 5K with teams from elementary schools in Durham, Wake and Orange counties. Want to cheer them on? Mark these dates on your calendars:
  • Mock 5K at Forest View – March 17th, 4pm.
  • End-of-season 5K at American Tobacco Campus – April 16th, 10am
