Forest View Families Walk In to Support Public Education

Posted by

Today families walked their children into school, volunteered in classrooms and the media center, ate lunch with their children, joined them at recess, donated food for our Back Pack Buddies Program (many of our families need supplemental food on the weekends and during breaks), donated clothes, donated books for Book Harvest (so every child can build a home library), brought snacks for teachers and administrators, contributed to our “why we love our teachers” and “why we value public education” poster boards, wore red in support of public education, and much, much more.  We support our teachers, our school, our community. We walked in today to say that public education matters.
