Thursday, April 11th, 7-8:30: Parent Discussion–Social and Emotional Needs of Gifted Students. What are the trends, needs, and practical strategies? Learning and conversation facilitated by Sneha Shah Coltrane, Forest View parent and State Director of Gifted Education. This discussion is the first in a series on meeting the needs of gifted children. The next meetings will be April 25th and May 9th.
Monday, April 15, 6:30: PTA and Steering Committee Meeting. Media Center. All are welcome.
Tuesday, April 30, 5-7:30: Book Fair/ Cardboard Construction/Forest View family feedback. Students, families build and bring structures made from cardboard and recycled materials: a game, a plane, a castle!? Start planning your design, build it, and bring it to school. We’ll put them on display. Check out Caine’s Arcade for more great ideas!
